Working Principle
CPN-L series liquid nitrogen equipment uses high-quality carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent to produce nitrogen from air under certain pressure according to the principle of PSA. After purification and drying of compressed air, pressure adsorption and desorption are carried out in the adsorber. Due to the kinetic effect, the diffusion rate of oxygen in the pores of carbon molecular sieve is much faster than that of nitrogen. When the adsorption does not reach equilibrium, nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase to form finished nitrogen. Then depressurize to atmospheric pressure, and the adsorbent desorbs the adsorbed oxygen and other impurities to realize regeneration. Generally, two adsorption towers are set in the system, one for nitrogen production and the other for desorption and regeneration, which are controlled automatically by PLC program to make the two towers work alternately and circularly. The finished product nitrogen is then passed through Stirling refrigerator to produce liquid nitrogen.
